Arizona fugitives John McCluskey and Casslyn Welch captured

The man hunt is over. John McCluskey and Casslyn Welch are back behind bars. People are making comparisons between the two and Bonnie and Clyde. They are running since escaping from an Arizona state prison about 3 weeks ago. They were believed to be in several locations after their escape, including Yellowstone National Park, and Arkansas. The two were captured because a Park Ranger called in their vehicle’s license plate in an AZ state park.

Park Ranger makes the difference

An unnamed Park Ranger made the catch. He was on patrol in Apache Sitgreaves National Forest. He spotted an unattended fire in a campground and had the vehicle’s license plate checked out, according to ABC. The automobile turned up being stolen. So he called the police. Officers arrived to take them into custody, and they found the individuals who had the automobile were the two fugitives. After their arrest, which went peacefully, John McCluskey told authorities if he had been able to get to his tent, he would have engaged in a shootout with the police. McCluskey and his cousin, Casslyn Welch, who is also his fiancĂ©, were taken peacefully.

The search is finished

John McCluskey and Casslyn Welch didn’t break out alone. Inmates Daniel Renwick and Tracy Province went with them. Province and Renwick were captured soon after, and McCluskey and Welch were spotted in Yellowstone National Park and in Butte, Mon. McCluskey and Welch were spotted in Yellowstone National Park and Butte, Mont., when Renwick and Province were captured not long after their escape. The two lately captured criminals weren’t idle after escaping. As outlined by the Associated Press, they’re suspected within the death of Linda and Gary Haas, a retired couple in New Mexico on vacation. The Haases were found around Aug. 4, and the car McCluskey and Welch possessed had New Mexico plates.

A lot more like Hitler and Stalin than Clyde and Bonnie

There is an idiotic notion that something is romantic about Bonnie and Clyde. The actual Bonnie and Clyde weren’t romantic at all. Clyde was supposedly gay, and they robbed banks before the FDIC existed, so the exact same people they were stealing from were the ones rooting for them. They belong in jail. The ranger who called police is to be commended.
